As some of you may have noticed from the placard on the wall, our practice has been designated as a Patient Centered Medical Home by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. Dr. Laura Babe graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed her residency in Internal Medicine. She joined Dr. Edwards in practice in 1999, and purchased the practice after he retired. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. She and her husband have four boys and one girl and live in Dexter. In addition to practicing medicine, she is active in Boy Scouts, running around after kids, and gardening.

Academic Appointments: Dr. Babe serves as Clinical Faculty at Wayne State University and supervises senior medical students doing office based clerkships in the fall and winter.

Maureen describes herself as a people person. When she is not at work, drawing blood, giving shots or talking to patients, she enjoys taking walks with her dog, playing in the yard, and reading a good book.
These smiling faces at the front desk help schedule appointments and get you checked in. April is from the metropolis of Dixboro, and enjoys her grandchildren, who keep her busy. Angie, born in Ann Arbor and a graduate of Willow Run HS loves music, singing, traveling and outdoor activities. The proud grandmother of seven grandchildren, she wants you to know they are all adorable.
Shannon is the newest member of the staff. She handles billing for the office, answers and troubleshoots insurance issues, but also answers the phone, schedules appointments and takes messages. A resident of Dexter, her son keeps her on her toes.
