What Is TED Hair Restoration?
If standard hair loss treatments haven’t provided results, TED Hair Restoration may offer a solution. Hair loss is common and can result from hormonal imbalances or family history, causing early balding and thinning in both men and women. Androgenic alopecia, also known as male or female pattern baldness, is the most common type, leading to receding, finer hair that may eventually disappear, affecting confidence.
Our practice offers the innovative transepidermal delivery (TED) treatment by Alma, paired with the TED+ Hair Care Formula. This noninvasive procedure uses sound waves and air pressure to deliver the specialized formula deep into the scalp, improving blood circulation and supplying essential nutrients that strengthen, lengthen, and anchor hair. When combined with advanced medical therapies for hair restoration, TED can produce remarkable results.

Request an AppointmentHow Does TED Hair Restoration Work?
Unlike many hair restoration techniques that use lasers or needles to create scalp channels, Alma TED employs acoustic sound waves and air pressure, making it completely noninvasive and more comfortable for patients. The sound waves generate tiny gas bubbles beneath the skin, which expand to allow better absorption of medications, while air pressure pushes the medications deeper into the scalp. A handpiece is gently glided over the scalp during treatment to stimulate hair growth.
This process helps regenerate a healthy scalp environment by promoting vascularization around hair follicles and improving blood flow. Typically, patients undergo about three monthly sessions to achieve their desired results. Most individuals report little to no pain, as the procedure relies on sound waves and air pressure to deliver the specialized hair formula beneath the skin.
