Convenient Lab Testing

There are times when lab work is necessary to help diagnose symptoms. When Dr. Babe orders testing, blood or other samples can be collected during your visit, saving you additional trips to a laboratory. Labs are sent to local facilities such as Quest, Michigan Medicine, or Trinity/St. Joseph, depending on patient preference, insurance requirements, or to facilitate collaboration with specialists. For the MDVIP Annual Wellness Exam, samples are sent to Cleveland Heart Lab for specialized testing. We also work with specialty labs to offer multi-cancer detection (Galleri). In-office diagnostic testing is available for conditions such as respiratory viruses, urinary tract infections, and strep throat.

These services are available to members of the practice.
