The preliminary visit of the MDVIP wellness exam is a one-hour session with our nurse, Sara, who performs in-office testing and draws fasting labs. This includes body composition analysis, electrocardiogram, lung function assessment, strength testing, hearing evaluation, and cardiovascular risk assessment with fasting blood testing.
The second stage of the physical usually takes place about two weeks later, once all results are available. This visit includes a full review of your current health concerns, chronic medical conditions, medications, supplements, diet, and exercise habits; a complete physical exam as appropriate; ensuring routine health maintenance such as vaccinations or cancer screenings are up to date; and creating a personalized plan to maintain or improve quality of life and address medical concerns.
